Search On For Singer Behind Katy Perry Hit Missing Since June: Police

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — A singer-songwriter whose credits include cowriting Katy Perry's 2013 single "Walking on Air" has been missing since June 29, when she was last seen in Beverly Hills, according to reports.

Camela Leierth-Segura, 48, was last seen on June 29, according to a missing persons report from the state attorney general. Her friend, Liz Montgomery, has been getting the word out about her missing friend, who also goes by Camela Leierth.

Montgomery said Leierth-Segura was last seen in Beverly Hills near Robbins Drive, a few blocks south of The Beverly Hilton.

"We are extremely worried about her safety, and despite our best efforts, the local authorities have not been able to locate her," Montgomery wrote on Instagram. "She means the world to us and time is of the essence. Her family in Sweden is pleading for your assistance."

Leierth-Segura was recently evicted from her Beverly Hills apartment amid struggles to pay rent, ABC 7 reported.

Also missing is Leierth-Segura's 19-year-old cat Morris. Neighbors said they haven't seen Leierth-Segura or her car in weeks, according to ABC 7.

Leierth-Segura is described as 5-feet 10-inches tall, 125 lbs. with blonde hair and blue eyes. Her car is a 2010 Ford Fusion with California plate number 6KZJ725, according to the attorney general.
