Plans For 90-Unit Apartment Complex Proposed To Beverly Hills Planning Commission
The 90-unit complex would be an upgrade from the original 54-unit complex that was approved by the Planning Commission in 2007.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — A new 90-unit apartment project at 9200 Wilshire Boulevard, between Palm and Maple drives, was proposed to the Beverly Hills Planning Commission on Thursday. The project was approved by the Planning Commission in 2007 as a 54-unit building with 14,000 square feet, according to Curbed, but the developer New Pacific LLC wants to modify these plans to offer less retail space and more apartments.
In order to make these changes it needs the city's approval. The six-story building would hold mostly one- and two-bedroom units, with some three-bedroom units on the top floor. The building would also include 5,700 square feet of ground floor commercial space and 275 underground parking spaces, according to Curbed.
The staff report after the Planning Commission meeting recommended conducting a public hearing to receive testimony on the project, and directed staff to deny the requested modifications to the project.
