
A successful season came to an abrupt end for the Beverly Hills High girls soccer team on Tuesday afternoon. The Normans were edged by South Torrance, 1-0, in the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division 4 playoffs.
Beverly Hills (17-7-2), which finished second to Santa Monica in the Ocean League, could not muster any goals against a South Torrance side (18-5-4) that finished second in the Pioneer League.
