'Straws' Documentary Screening And Expert Panel In Beverly Hills

The free event focusing on plastic pollution will include a social hour, documentary screening and Q&A with environmental experts.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA – The City of Beverly Hills and the non-profit Crayon Collection are co-hosting a free event to show the documentary "STRAWS," that sheds light on plastic pollution and provides answers to many questions that people have about straws and their affect on the environment, the City of Beverly Hills announced.

The screening will take place on September 27 from 6-8 p.m. at Beverly Hills City Hall in the Municipal Gallery. The film will begin at 7:00 p.m. after a short social hour with food available from the Green Food Truck. The screening will be followed up up by a Q&A with a special guest panel of experts on the issues of waste, ocean pollution, and sustainability in the modern day, according to the City.
