Suge Knight Refuses to Leave Cell for Beverly Hills Robbery Trial
The former rap mogul will be forcibly removed from his jail cell if he doesn't come voluntarily to a Friday hearing, a judge ruled.
A court hearing for Marion “Suge” Knight had to be canceled today when the former rap mogul refused to come out of his jail cell, insisting he was sick.
Knight, 49, was due in court for a hearing in a case in which he is charged along with comedian Micah “Katt” Williams will stealing a camera from a paparazzo in Beverly Hills on Sept. 5. Knight is charged separately with murder for allegedly running over two men in Compton, killing one of them.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ronald S. Coen agreed to postpone today’s hearing until Friday. But Coen said if Knight refuses to come out of his cell again, he will order that Knight be physically removed and brought to court.

Knight remains jailed on $10 million bail.
The former rap mogul has had a series of medical problems since being arrested. He was hospitalized on at least three different occasions following court hearings.
