Patch: What sports and/or clubs have you participated in during your high school career?
Hendry: I have played volleyball, soccer, softball, cross country and track. I also have been on the school newspaper for two years.
Patch: What high school accomplishment are you most proud of?
Hendry: Rather than any specific accomplishment, I am proud of the fact that over my four years of high school I have tried many new things and have really discovered the things that make me happy.
Patch: What advice do you have for incoming freshman on the high school experience?
Hendry: My advice is to stay open minded and not be afraid to take risks. Everything you do should ultimately be for yourself, and pursuing something you are passionate about and that brings you happiness should always take precedence over what looks good on a college application or what others expect of you.
