• Big Bear Lake, CA: Jill Maiorca Identified After 20 Years as Former Husband Arrested in Cold Case (theunionstar.com) — Authorities have identified human remains found beneath a Big Bear Lake home as missing resident Jill Maiorca and arrested her former husband on suspicion of murder nearly 20 years after her presumed killing. Investigators say she vanished after being reported missing from Big Bear Lake, and they’re now asking anyone with information about her disappearance or death to contact San Bernardino County Sheriff’s detectives.
