• Christopher Guatemala killed in truck accident on Interstate 10 (newsline.com) — A deadly work-zone crash on Interstate 10 near Intake Boulevard in Blythe killed three construction workers, including 27-year-old Christopher Benavidez Guatemala of Coachella. Authorities say a tractor-trailer plowed into several parked construction vehicles and a water truck, and the California Highway Patrol is still investigating.
