• One person dead in Bonsall pickup fire (sandiegouniontribune.com) — A 75-year-old driver died Saturday when his pickup caught fire on a dirt stretch of Shirey Road near Rocking Horse Road in Bonsall. Two passengers had gone to get help after the truck got stuck, and returned to find it engulfed in flames. Cal Fire crews extinguished the blaze, and the California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause.
