• OC Officials Won't Pursue Renewing Funding For New Black Infant Health Program (voiceofoc.org) — Orange County health officials are ending state grant funding for the Black Infant Health program after June 30, 2026, a move that directly affects several Brea moms who rely on its support groups, childcare and mental health resources. Program leaders warn services will be sharply reduced, while county officials say other maternal and child health programs will help fill the gap.
