Local leaders say the money will significantly improve safety and emergency readiness.
   

• Brea police issue warning after spying device found in neighborhood bushes (amedpost.com) — Brea police are warning residents after a hidden surveillance camera was found disguised in neighborhood bushes, likely used to monitor homes before burglaries. Officers urge residents to regularly scan their yards and landscaping for unfamiliar devices and to avoid touching anything suspicious. Instead, people should immediately clear the area and call Brea Police at 714-990-7911 so officers can secure and investigate the device safely.
