Volunteer @ Chino Hills!

On this workday, volunteers will help create defensible space around the Discovery Center and Native Plant Nursery by removing shrubs, weeds, and low-hanging tree limbs that can contribute to the spread of wildfire. Using hand tools, tarps, and wheelbarrows, participants will help create fuel breaks that can slow fire spread and improve access for fire crews if needed. We're also excited to welcome Brea Fire Marshal , who will join us to discuss the importance of defensible space and wildfire preparedness in our communities and homes. 

All Ages Welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. 

This is a great opportunity for students interested in environmental stewardship, conservation, wildfire resilience, public service, or simply spending a meaningful day outdoors while making a tangible impact.
