Power Outage Hits Brentwood Area

BRENTWOOD, CA — About 1,200 Department of Water and Power customers in the Brentwood area lost power Thursday evening, but power was restored to most within a few hours.

The Department of Water and Power reported that about 50 customers remained without electricity in the Brentwood area, by 9 p.m. with full service restoration expected by 1 a.m. The outage was caused by a damaged cross arm on a power pole, a DWP spokeswoman said.
