Teacher's Aide Indicted In Child Porn Possession Case: Authorities
The man worked at a middle school in Contra Costa County, authorities said.
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — A former teacher’s aide in Contra Costa County was recently indicted on charges of receipt and possession of child pornography, according to authorities.
Dominic James Vannucci, who worked as a middle school teacher’s aide until June, appeared Thursday in federal court, authorities said.

Vannucci, 25, of Discovery Bay, possessed child sexual abuse materials involving a prepubescent minor from an unknown date through June, and received child sexual abuse materials in May, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
He is out on conditional release and his next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 19, authorities said. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison with a minimum sentence of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each count, according to the department.
