Teacher's Aide Charged With Child Porn Possession: Police
The East Bay educator was also charged with annoying or molesting a child, according to police.

DISCOVERY BAY, CA — A teacher’s aide for an East Bay middle school has been charged with 20 counts in connection with a child pornography investigation, according to police.
Dominic Vannucci, 25, of Discovery Bay, was arrested after the execution of a search warrant Wednesday morning at a home on the 2200 block of Breaker Court, police said.
Authorities had received information that a Contra Costa County resident was in possession of child pornography, and law enforcement during the search seized electronic devices containing child sexual abuse material as well as other items, according to police.

Vannucci worked as a teacher’s aide at Excelsior Middle School in Byron, police said, adding detectives notified school officials and were coordinating with the administration regarding the investigation.
Vannucci was booked into jail and charged with child pornography possession and annoying or molesting a child, according to police, who said he was being held in lieu of $800,000 bail.
