ā¢ After 4 years of closure and repeated delays, this historic 1978 roller coaster is finally expected to reopen in Buena Park this summer (secretlosangeles.com) ā A major Buena Park attraction is finally coming back: Knottās Berry Farm expects its historic 1978 coaster, revamped as MonteZOOMa: The Forbidden Fortress, to reopen sometime this summer after years of delays. The relaunched ride will feature a new Aztec-themed story, updated track, and randomized forward-and-backward launches as a centerpiece of the refreshed Fiesta Village. Locals should watch Knottās website for the official opening date.
