2020 Film Fest Winners Announced

Awards recognize students who created videos on environmental topics

The Citizens Environmental Council (CEC) and the Burlingame Environmental Club (BEC) at Burlingame High School have announced the division winners of the CEC Student Film Fest for 2020:

  • Elementary School: Allison Wylie, Franklin Elementary School (Burlingame), "Carbon Change Is Taxing"
  • Middle School: Astrid Carlen, Burlingame Intermediate School, "Carbon Footprint of a BLT"
  • High School: Manny Barron and Brian Church, Hillsdale High School (San Mateo), "Composting News Segment"

Pictured are BEC members who helped other students learn to make videos at a recent workshop.
