Dear Neighbors,
We are having an impossible time convincing the Burlingame School District of the dangerous problems associated with the proposed Hoover Elementary School located at Canyon/Summit/Easton streets. A school slated to hold a mere 250 students, at most, has not identified even 1 street for which our neighborhood children can walk to the proposed school without intolerable danger. That's right, no sidewalks, let alone, bike lanes, lead to the school. What does lead right up to the door are 3 unusually narrow, windy roads with multiple blind curves.
That's right. We know it. We live it. We can see it. The only body, for whom this fact is unrecognizable, is the Burlingame School District Board. Help!
