Discount Oak Tree Spraying Program Offered to Homeowners

Sudden oak death is ravaging oaks in the hills of Burlingame and Hillsborough. Dead oak removal is expensive and decreases privacy and beauty. However, sudden oak death is completely treatable & preventable with a non-controversial spray.

Last year, the Burlingame Hills Improvement Association started an oak tree spraying program. It provides a discount rate of $25/oak that is 30-40 percent off the regular rate. In addition, there is no charge for small oaks and the standard $125 minimum fee is waived.

You even get a choice of arborists. Last year, as a result of this program, more than 650 oaks were sprayed. The program has been profiled in front page articles in the Examiner and Chronicle.
