Universal Technical Institute Hosts Future Tech Day at Peterson Cat in San Leandro on March 9
If you ever wondered what it’s like to work on a big Caterpillar or a diesel truck, here’s your chance.
Peterson Cat in San Leandro is opening its doors to the public and offering an inside look at a career as a diesel technician. Universal Technical Institute (UTI), the leading provider of post-secondary education for students seeking careers as professional automotive, diesel, collision repair, motorcycle and marine technicians, is hosting the event and will be on hand to discuss careers in the diesel repair field.

The open house will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Peterson Cat, 2700 Teagarden Street in San Leandro.
“This is a great opportunity to get a look at these big diesel tractors and trucks and meet the technicians behind them,” said Don Black, Education Director at UTI-Sacramento. “For students interested in a career as a diesel technician, this is a fun day to learn more about our exceptional educational opportunities.”
