Bob Bertram passed away Sunday evening December 23, 2012. He was 71 years old. Bob was born May 27, 1941 in San Mateo, California to his parents Jack R. Bertram and Bettie I. Fabian.
Bob joined the Air Force, serving in Holland and Africa as a crew chief on airplanes. Then he returned, working as a butcher in the San Francisco area for 22 years. Later, he owned and operated two hardware stores in the Burlingame area and was a Burlingame Lion. Bob then became a general contractor in the Bay Area.
Bob is survived by his mother Bettie Faria (94) of Morgan Hill, CA; his wife, Jan (Skiye) (Hawk) Bertram of Las Vegas, NV; Daughter, Sherry Ann Wintsch of Roseville, CA; step sons Corey Hawk of San Mateo, CA, and Jim Hawk of Foster City, CA.

A Memorial/Celebration of Life will take place on Sat, January 19, 2013 at 11:00 am at Rockaway Beach, Nick's Restaurant, Pacifica, CA. (650) 359-3900. 49er football attire is preferred.
