The Art of Living Happiness Program Comes to Burlingame: Invites Local Residents to Become Truly Happy, Energetic and Peaceful
Wellness, mindfulness, breathing exercises, meditation, yoga
Burlingame, CA, April 9, 2015: The Art of Living Foundation, an international non-profit today announced a unique opportunity for Burlingame residents to take the Art of Living Happiness Program, a dynamic workshop that allows an individual to tap vast possibilities within and discover one’s unlimited power and freedom. The workshop will be conducted from April 17-20.
The Happiness Program teaches practical tools to manage the mind and emotions so that one can live life with greater purpose and fulfillment. The centerpiece of this program is the Sudarshan Kriya ®, a powerful technique that uses specific, natural rhythms to get unstuck with events of life. It is a time-tested technique based on ancient Vedic knowledge.
“The quality of our life is determined by the state of our mind. Just like we have dental hygiene, we need mental hygiene,” said Julia Tang, a senior instructor with the Art of Living Foundation. “The powerful breathing techniques taught in this program help us to operate at a fuller capacity by reducing the number of unproductive, negative thoughts that drag our energy down. The more responsibility we have, greater is the need to meditate and use breathing techniques skillfully to enhance our abilities and strengthen the nervous system.”
