Attempted Burglars Sought In Hillsborough

The homeowners returned to their home at the 2900 block of Churchill Drive around 9:15 p.m.

HILLSBOROUGH, CA -- Police are asking the public for help tracking down three men who tried to burglarize a Hillsborough home Friday, only to be interrupted in the act by the homeowners.

The homeowners returned to their home at the 2900 block of Churchill Drive around 9:15 p.m. and heard the alarm going off, police said.

Three men wearing hoodies sprinted across the driveway, jumped the gate and fled, according to police.

The suspects were driving a dark-colored Honda sedan with paper plates that appeared to be a 2015 model, police said.

Anyone who might have surveillance camera footage or have seen the suspects is asked to call police at (650) 375-7470.
