Kids (Ages 7-13) get into the act at this summer's Bay Area Shakespeare Camp being held at the Burlingame United Methodist Church, 1443 Howard Ave. The 2-week session meets July 15-16, Mon-Fri, from 9am-3pm, with optional aftercare until 5:30.
Campers learn all about the world of performance from trained theater professionals in a fun and creative environment. On the final day of the session, campers stage a show for family and friends followed by a celebratory cast party.
Those with prior experience will hone and develop their performance skills; newcomers to the stage will experience the thrill of their first performance!
Shakespeare camp provides training in:
• Shakespeare’s rich language
• Acting and improvisation
• Voice and movement technique
• Stage combat
• Set and costume design and more!
Join us for the 21st year of this engaging and enriching program and find out what keeps Shakespeare campers coming back season after season!
