Boeing 757 Makes Emergency Landing at SFO

There was an apparent cabin pressurization problem.

An American Airlines flight made an emergency landing at San Francisco International Airport Monday afternoon because of a cabin pressurization problem, flight officials said.

A Boeing 757 that departed from SFO to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport had to turn around and return to the airport, Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor said.

The plane safely landed at about 2:15 p.m. and taxied to the gate, Gregor said.

No one was injured, SFO officials said.

The FAA will work with the airline to determine the problem before the plane flies again, Gregor said.
