January is Poety Month and Burlingame Library's Children's Room is Celebrating!

All month long, elementary school age children who write an original poem can bring it to the Main Library or the Easton Branch to receive a FREE PAPERBACK BOOK OF POETRY!

January is poetry month and the Children's Department at the library has exciting things planned for kids and families. 

All month long (Jan. 2 - 31st), elementary school age children who write an original poem can bring it to the Main Library or the Easton Branch to receive a FREE PAPERBACK BOOK OF POETRY! Limit one (1) poetry book per child. 

Plus when you bring your poem to the library, you get to hang a leaf on our Poet-Tree!

And parents let your child's teacher know that the school with the HIGHEST PER CAPITA PARTICIPATION will receive the POET-TREE ZEBRA for their school library.*

* (Classes that visit our library during January will receive a free hardback book of poetry for their classroom. We will NOT accept poems from individual children during class visits.)
