Caltrain Strikes Tow Truck on Burlingame Tracks
Commuters faced some delays Monday morning.
BURLINGAME, CA- A train traveling north through the Peninsula Monday morning hit a tow truck in the Burlingame area, Caltrain officials report.
The incident was reported at 8:27 a.m. Officials say that the truck stalled on the tracks, but no one was inside when it was struck at Broadway and California Drive, near the Broadway station.
"There are no injuries as a result of the incident, and the tow truck has been removed from the tracks," Caltrain Spokesman Will Reisman said.

Once the tracks were cleared, trains were traveling at a 10 mph speed restriction in the area for about 45 minutes, according to Caltrain officials.
Delays ranging between 5 and 35 minutes were reported for commuters.
