Burglars Scared Off By Hillsborough Home Alarm: Police

Police are hoping someone may have area surveillance footage to help them catch the suspects.

HILLSBOROUGH, CA — Hillsborough police are asking for the public's help with finding a group of men believed to have broken into a local home by forcing open a sliding door. The men, who were spotted fleeing the scene, were apparently scared off by a security alarm, police said.

It happened on Friday around 10:40 a.m. in the 600 block of Pullman Road, according to police. That's near Skyline Boulevard and Chateau Drive.

"The residential security alarm system was then activated and scared off the suspects," police said in a news release. "An eyewitness reported seeing 3 males (possibly Hispanic) flee the scene in a white Saturn with no rear license plate."
