The City of Burlingame
will be opening our new Bocce Ball
Courts with a Grand Opening
Ceremony on Friday, June 14th at 11:00am at Washington Park. The opportunity to play the first official games
on the new courts at the grand opening will be raffled. Raffle tickets can be
purchased at the Recreation Center for $5. Proceeds will benefit the Burlingame
Parks and Recreation Department’s Youth Scholarship Fund.
The courts, which are
located next to the tennis courts, will be open to the public on a daily basis
for drop in play. Bocce leagues will be organized this summer for the community
to participate in, and the courts are available to rent for private parties and
