Burlingame Burglar Enters Home Through Bedroom Door, Flees: Police
"Investigators believe the suspect(s) in this case may have become startled and fled the scene."

HILLSBOROUGH, CA – Hillsborough police are looking into a residential burglary that occurred on Monday after a suspect or suspects forced open a back door.
The burglary occurred in the 300 block of Darrell Road sometime between 11 a.m. and 7:23 p.m..
"Based on the investigation it is believed that an unknown suspect(s) gained entry by forcing open a rear bedroom door," police said in a news release. "Some of the stolen property was dropped by the suspect(s) in the backyard of the residence and was recovered at a later time. Investigators believe the suspect(s) in this case may have become startled and fled the scene."

Police are looking for additional witnesses and are asking residents in the area with security camera systems to share any footage that might help in the investigation.
