The superintendent of construction at old Hoover School site laughed at my yard signs this am asking to SAVE OUR OAKS. Has Burlingame become blasé to the best part of the town itself-its atmosphere and environment. It is why I live in this community of Bur-Hills.
Meeting tonight is the last effort we have to stand up for 2 old oaks listed as #l and #2 by BSD. Does anyone except BSD want them cut down because they are in the way? Almost every house in this neighborhood, and many other great CA towns and cities had to be laid out so as to accomodate our old oaks. So what? It is what you do as an educated society. We PRESERVE.
Help us do just that. Come tonight. It won't take long.
