Burlingame DUI Checkpoint Nets Zero Arrests
Police say hundreds of vehicles were screened in recent operation.

BURLINGAME, CA — Burlingame police recently held a DUI/driver's license checkpoint in town, but did not catch anyone driving under the influence.
According to Burlingame Police Sgt. Jim Ford, the operation was held Thursday night into early Friday morning. Of the 790 vehicles that passed through the operation, seven drivers were given field sobriety tests.
No one was found to be DUI or driving on a suspended license, Ford said.

Funding for the operation came from state and federal grants.
