BURLINGAME, CA — Police officers made dozens of traffic enforcement stops and arrested one person in a DUI saturation patrol held on St. Patrick's Day, officials announced. During the Sunday operation, police made a total of 36 vehicle stops, according to a news release from the Burlingame Police Department. One person was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. "Last year the Burlingame Police Department investigated 37 DUI collisions that killed 0 people and injured 9," police said. Funding for the operation came from state and federal grants.
