Burlingame, Hillsborough Residents Accused of Murdering Peninsula Man Appear in Court
The three Peninsula residents are accused in the death of Keith Green, whose decomposing body was found in the North Bay in May.

MILLBRAE, CA — Three defendants in the murder of a Millbrae man whose body was found dumped in Sonoma County in May pleaded not guilty to the charges Wednesday.
Tiffany Li, 30, her boyfriend Kaveh Bayat, 29, and a friend of theirs, 40-year-old Olivier Adella, all entered the pleas Wednesday afternoon in San Mateo County Superior Court in Redwood City. They are set to return to
court on Oct. 6 for a preliminary hearing, according to Deputy District Attorney Karen Guidotti.
Few details have been revealed about the evidence connecting the trio to the shooting death of 27-year-old Keith Green.

Green went missing on April 28 when he went to meet Li, his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his two children, at the Millbrae Pancake House. Green had left his wallet and car keys at home and had only his cellphone with him. A hiker found his cellphone in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park the next day.
A search for Green turned up nothing until May 11, when a Sonoma County sheriff's deputy working with a homeless outreach team found his decomposing body down an embankment north of Healdsburg. Dental records were used to identify him.

Once his body was found, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office swiftly launched a homicide investigation, arresting Li and Bayat at their home in the 600 block of West Santa Inez Avenue in Hillsborough about 10 days later.
Adella was arrested during a raid in the 1800 block of Trousdale Drive in Burlingame a day prior.
Li's attorney, Geoff Carr, said he is still in the process of getting evidence from the district attorney's office and couldn't add anything to prosecutors' account Wednesday.
