Burlingame Pedestrian Safety Stings Snares 29 Violators
Police cited motorists and pedestrians for alleged violations.
BURLINGAME, CA – Police in two separate September enforcement operations issued 29itations for violations allegedly committed by motorists and pedestrians, the Burlingame Police Department said in a news release.
“Our hope is that we educate the public on how to safely get around, whether it is by walking or driving,” Corporal Garrett Pene said in a statement.
“Pedestrians should not be afraid of getting hit by a car, and drivers should not be fearful of hitting someone walking. Pedestrian safety is a two-way street.”
