Burlingame Police Announce DUI Enforcement Operation

Officials say they'll be out in full force as we head in to the holiday weekend. [BREAKING]

BURLINGAME, CA – Burlingame police are planning a DUI saturation patrol on Friday night "to stop and arrest alcohol and drug-impaired drivers in the department's ongoing traffic safety campaign," officials said Thursday.

The operation is slated to begin at 6 p.m. Friday and end at 2 a.m. Saturday.

"Officers will be looking for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment," police said in a news release. "When possible, specially trained officers will be available to evaluate those suspected of drug-impaired driving, which now accounts for a growing number of impaired driving crashes."
