BURLINGAME, CA — A Burlingame resident gave authorities a brief scare this week, when the "at-risk" woman went missing from a care facility, police said. It happened around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday when Madeline Travis, 52, left the facility, according to police. She had last been seen headed for a Burlingame Walgreens. However police said they located Travis within a couple hours after she was reported missing. She was reportedly safe.
