Police say the'll be out in full force this St. Patrick's Day weekend. (breaking)

BURLINGAME, CA – Burlingame police are warning St. Patrick's Day revelers to steer clear of drinking and driving. Officers will be out in full force looking for drunk drivers on Friday night.
The Burlingame Police Department will launch DUI saturation patrols between 6 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday "...in areas with high frequencies of DUI collisions and/or arrests," the agency said.
"High Visibility Enforcement using both DUI checkpoints and DUI Saturation Patrols has proven to lower the number of persons killed and injured in alcohol or drug impaired crashes," police said. "Research shows that crashes involving an impaired driver can be reduced by up to 20 percent when well-publicized proactive DUI operations are conducted routinely."
