Burlingame Resident Turns 90 This Saturday
Tillie Rosman bought herself flowers from the local florist on Broadway Ave., to celebrate her upcoming birthday.

Tillie Rosman walked along Broadway Ave. early Wednesday afternoon, carrying red and white flowers that matched her outfit.
"I bought them for myself," said the Burlingame resident. "I'm turning 90 this Saturday."
Rosman proceeded to pull out her ID and prove it to me. She said, laughing, that anyone could lie about their age.
"But look, it was 1923," she said, pointing to the birth date on her driver's license.
Rosman bought the flowers at the local floral shop on Broadway to celebrate her 90th, saying that her two sons live too far away to buy them for her.
She was born in New Jersey, then lived in New York for many years – and still has the accent.
She intends to place the flowers, complete with a vase from the floral shop, on her coffee table.
