Burlingame Temps To Dip, Then Rise Again: 7-Day Forecast

BURLINGAME, CA — With Labor Day behind us and the "unofficial" end of summer, the weather seems to finally be taking a cue and cooling down in the Bay Area. After a wave of record-breaking temperatures, a slight cool down appears to be on tap for most of the region. Temperatures are then expected to rise back up slightly come the weekend.

"Muggy conditions will persist Tuesday with temperatures falling back to near seasonal averages," the National Weather Service said. "Look for marine influences to increase through midweek as onshore flow returns to the region. An approaching upper level system will push inland to our north late in the week and help maintain cooler temperatures with only a slight chance of showers on Thursday."

As for Burlingame in particular, here's what the National Weather Service says is in store for the coming week:

Patchy smoke. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Breezy, with a southwest wind 11 to 16 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 63. Breezy, with a southwest wind 21 to 26 mph decreasing to 9 to 14 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 34 mph.

Wednesday
Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Breezy, with a light and variable wind becoming southwest 19 to 24 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph.
