Explore two of San Bruno Mountain's less-traveled canyons and learn about their history and ecology on this docent-lead hike. Canyon Hikes to Buckeye and Owl Canyons are on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. The hike is on narrow footpaths surrounded by coastal scrub, riparian woodland and coastal grassland and includes a visit to an Ohlone Indian shell mound. Bring water and a snack or lunch. Dress for varied weather.
