We are still over here in our neighborhood trying to protect 2 very old oaks on 2220 Summit Dr, sight of the excavation/demolition of the old Hoover elementary school. There are not even substantial barricades for these protected trees. Today, again digging w/backhoes right next to one and the useless soft orange plastic guard is loose and does not surround the trees. I wonder if the heavy equipment operators have even been told to take care bec. they are right next to them. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get through to the Bur. School Dist.?
