Carols and Candlelight - Celebrating the Traditions of the Season

Peninsula Girls Chorus Winter Concert December 13th

Peninsula Girls Chorus presents “Carols and Candlelight” for one performance only, Saturday, December 13th at 3pm at the Samuel Johnson, Jr. Performing Arts Center on the Capuchino High School Campus in San Bruno, CA.

Nearly 200 singers of the Peninsula Girls Chorus, ages 6-18, collaborate in this festive holiday concert celebrating the musical traditions of the season. Our ladies lift their voices in song, featuring well-known holiday tunes, medieval musical gems, and music recently written to celebrate the season. The concert will feature a candlelight processional, an ode to St. Lucia (complete with decorated candlelit crown), several combined choir numbers, and some audience sing-alongs.

PGC serves about 200 singers from communities ranging from South San Francisco down the Peninsula to Mountain View. This first performance of our 21st season marks our first appearance at the beautifully appointed Performing Arts Center at Capuchino High School, located at 1501 Magnolia Avenue in San Bruno, CA.
