Come and join us at our next Volunteer Info Session!!!
Looking for a challenging volunteer opportunity? Interested in advocating for the elderly and developmentally disabled? Please join us!

Hello Everyone:
Ombudsman Services of San Mateo County is seeking volunteers who have a compassion for the elderly and developmentally disabled individuals and would like to serve as advocates in long-term care facilities in the San Mateo County. This is a position that provides an intellectual challenge, as well as a chance to give back by serving the frail and vulnerable elders and disabled individuals of your own community. Ombudsmen are trained to monitor facilities for the quality of life and quality of care and receive, investigate and bring resolution to complaints about abuse and neglect made by, or on behalf of, residents.
We would like to invite you all to attend our next Volunteer information Session. We highly encourage you to attend this meeting, which will give you more information about our volunteer program and how you can get involved and it will also give you a chance to ask any questions you may have.
Our next Volunteer Information Session will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 6:00pm-7:30pm. Please RSVP via phone or email if you are interested in attending this meeting. It will be held at our offices in Redwood City (711 Nevada Street, Redwood City).
