An easy way to get started is to pick up some already made compost.
Tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Burlingame High School parking lot next to the Washington Park grandstands The City of Burlingame will give away free compost to residents. Bring your own shovel. This is a self-serve event. Limit is one 33-gallon garbage can per resident.
