Drugged Driving Suspected in Peninsula Crash at Local BART Station: Police
Police say two people were hospitalized in the wreck. (breaking)

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Two people were hospitalized and one of them is now facing felony DUI charges after a crash outside the local BART station, police reported Thursday.
According to police, the two-vehicle wreck was reported around 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of El Camino Real and the entrance to the South San Francisco BART station. Both drivers were taken away by ambulance with minor injuries.
"Through police investigation, it was determined one of the drivers was under the influence of drugs at the time of the collision," police said in a news release.

Lizardo Gomez, a 46-year-old resident of Daly City, was eventually medically cleared and booked into jail, according to police.
