BURLINGAME, CA — Burlingame police officers will staff a DUI/driver's license checkpoint in town on Thursday night, it was announced Wednesday.The operation is slated to start at 6 p.m. at an undisclosed location within city limits, according to Sgt. Jim Ford. It will last until 2 a.m. Friday."DUI Checkpoints are placed in locations based on collision statistics and frequency of DUI arrests, affording the greatest opportunity for achieving drunk and drugged driving deterrence," Ford said in a news release.
