SAN BRUNO, CA — A San Bruno woman is facing charges related to driving under the influence and child endangerment after she crashed this week in town, police report. The woman hit two parked cars and then fled the scene — all while she had a child sitting on her lap, according to the San Bruno Police Department.

It happened around 10:48 p.m. Sunday in the 2200 block of Evergreen Drive, according to San Bruno Police Sgt. Kevin McMullan. Police responded to the scene for a report of a crash involving two parked cars.

"Witnesses were able to positively identify the suspect as the person that was driving the SUV during the collision," McMullan said. "A subsequent investigation revealed that the driver had been driving while under the influence."
