DUI Suspected As Peninsula Man Hits Parked Car, Police Say
Police say the crash happened around 3 a.m. Saturday.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Police arrested a man after he allegedly crashed his vehicle into a parked car early Saturday morning in South San Francisco. At 3 a.m., police and fire crews were dispatched to the 1500 block of Hillside Boulevard on a report of a traffic collision. At the scene, they found a vehicle that had struck a parked vehicle.
An investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol when he crashed, police said.
The driver was identified as 28-year-old Albert Lopez of South San Francisco. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI and taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
