Geologic treasures from around the world are showcased at the 57th annual San Francisco Gem & Mineral Society Show: “Golden Gateway to Gems – A Sea of Gems” celebrating the gems and colors of the ocean.
The whole family will enjoy San Francisco’s original and oldest gem, mineral and jewelry weekend show Sat. Aug. 6 & Sun. Aug. 7, 2011.
The show features 52 exhibits and 24 dealers at Golden Gate Club in the historic Presidio, with sweeping views of the bay and bridge.

There are exclusive exhibits of pearls, ocean jasper, exquisite coral, precious jewelry, and an astounding array of minerals displayed by veteran, world-class collector Jack Halpern.
On-site demonstrations of carvings, lapidary and bead work will also be offered.
