Be the Difference:  Stand up to Bullying

Anti-Bullying Speaker, Kate Randall, Wed, Oct 17, 7pm, Burlingame High School Auditorium

The Burlingame High School (BHS) Parents' Group is proud to sponsor an evening with speaker Kaye Randall, MSW, LISW-CP. Ms. Randall is a nationally renown author and speaker. She is the co-author of Mean Girls: 101 1/2 Strategies for working with Relational Aggression.

She is the co-owner and Director of Turning Point Counseling in Columbia, South Carolina. As a licensed clinical social worker in private practice, Kaye works with children and adolescents who exhibit challenging behavior such as recreational aggression and bullying as well as those who are targets of this behavior.

Kaye has inspired seminar participants through her humor, practical insights, activities and proactive strategies in helping children and adolescents.

We are fortunate to have Kaye Randall speak to all BHS students during the school day on October 17, and in the evening for parents at 7 PM in the BHS Auditorium. Come learn all about recreational aggression and bullying and bring all of your questions including those about cyber bullying. This is an excellent way to open up communication with your child on this important subject!

This seminar is being funded by Burlingame High School's Parents' Group and is being organized by BHS Assistant Principal, Julie Thompson, who is available to provide additional information on this subject.
